Job Summary:
Brevard Public Schools is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team at Central Middle School. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English language arts to students in grades 6-8.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Requirements:
- Certification in English 6-12 or Middle Grades English 5-9 required
- Experience teaching English language arts to middle school students preferred
Working Conditions:
This is a 10-month instructional position with a regular schedule of 8 hours per day.
