Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling medications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medication orders, and inventory levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on new medications, technologies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare environment preferred.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
