Wound Care Specialist

Birmingham Green Health Center for Community Care is committed to providing high-quality wound care services. As a skilled and experienced Wound Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
We strive to create a supportive environment where our residents feel valued and respected, prioritizing their overall well-being.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, documenting, and tracking all wounds and skin treatments. Your expertise will help us provide individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide expert nail care treatment and routine care
- Document and track wound care progress, ensuring accurate records and effective communication with physicians
- Maintain open lines of communication with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Current RN License in the State of Virginia
- CPR Certification and IV Therapy Certificate
- One year experience in geriatric nursing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- WOCN certification desired but not required
Competitive Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, reflecting your valuable contributions to our team.
