Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a school district in Minnesota. As a contract SLP, you will work with students from early childhood to middle school, providing speech and language therapy services to support their development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language skills, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with district SLPs and other educational professionals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Document student progress and complete necessary paperwork to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with student caregivers to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience.
  • A valid Minnesota SLP license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
