Job Summary:

RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of patients' status and goals.
  • Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes.
  • Coordinate treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services.
  • Attend clinical meetings to facilitate coordination.
  • Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation of Clinical Fellowship Year, including 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State licensure/registration where appropriate. ASHA certification is required.
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
