Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient conditions and detect changes in condition or response to medication or therapy.
  • Identify symptoms of illnesses and changes in conditions and report to a physician or registered nurse.
  • Administer medications, take temperatures, pulse rates, blood pressures, and respiration rates.
  • Implement and monitor g-tube and j-tube feedings, including changing g-tubes as necessary.
  • Assist patients with collecting urine, stool, and other specimens for analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts and records.
  • Perform inventory of medical supplies and medications.
Requirements
  • A license and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
  • A limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
  • An application on file for a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
