Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Quality Inspector to join our team at Clayens. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting production parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that involves working closely with other business functions, customers, and suppliers to improve performance and quality. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of quality expected by our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Testing: Perform routine inspections on materials and goods in-process to verify specifications, conduct visual and dimensional tests, and identify product defects.
  • Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and procedures.
  • Quality Reports and Records: Accurately complete quality and production reports using electronic applications and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintenance and Improvement: Report faulty equipment, defective materials, and improper operations to supervisors and participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and understand English; experience with basic measurement tools, Microsoft Office programs, and inspection equipment.

Work Environment:

This role requires standing for long periods, walking, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and using hands to finger, handle, feel, and manipulate objects. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
