We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
Responsibilities- Collaboration and Assessment: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, analyze assessment data, establish goals, and plan care strategies.
- Patient Care and Prioritization: Establish priorities of care, implement care plans, delegate tasks safely, and provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
- Evaluation and Quality Improvement: Evaluate patient responses to interventions and perform additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
- Education: Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- New Graduates: New graduates are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
