Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee and direct contents restoration projects from initiation to completion.
    • Coordinate the packing, cleaning, and restoration processes of affected items.
    • Ensure timely project delivery, maintaining scope and budget.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Evaluate the state of damaged items and identify appropriate restoration techniques.
    • Utilize and maintain specialized restoration tools, including ultrasonic cleaners and drying chambers.
    • Engage in hands-on restoration and cleaning of various items, such as textiles, electronics, and furniture.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor restoration technicians, offering guidance and support.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members to promote efficient operations.
    • Conduct regular meetings to review project progress and address any issues.
  • Client Relations:
    • Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the restoration journey.
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
    • Ensure a positive client experience through professionalism, empathy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Quality Control:
    • Review completed work to verify compliance with company standards and client expectations.
    • Implement and uphold safety and quality control measures across all restoration tasks.
    • Keep detailed records of restored items, including inventory lists and photographs.
  • Inventory and Logistics:
    • Oversee the inventory management of items pre- and post-restoration, ensuring accurate documentation.
    • Coordinate the storage and transportation of restored belongings.
    • Collaborate with insurance adjusters and other relevant parties to ensure precise documentation and billing.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certification in restoration or a related field is preferred.
    • 3-5 years of experience in contents restoration or a similar field.
    • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • In-depth knowledge of restoration methods for various materials, including textiles and electronics.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Outstanding customer service skills with effective communication and empathy.
    • Proficient in utilizing restoration equipment and inventory management software.
  • Certifications:
    • IICRC Certification in Contents Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, or Water Damage Restoration is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
    • Comfortable working in diverse environments, including those with potential exposure to smoke, water, and mold.
    • Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
