Overview:

Marksman Security Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
  • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
  • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitors' arrival
  • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
  • Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
  • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
  • Warn violators of infractions, such as loitering, smoking, and possession of prohibited items
  • Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies, such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals, by contacting local first responders
  • Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
  • Ensure all rules and regulations are being enforced and followed

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid AZ Guard Card
  • Valid AZ Driver's License
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Minimum of one year of security experience
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
