Beverage Specialist - Acre 41

Job Overview

As a Beverage Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and drink service to patrons, ensuring a delightful dining experience at all times. It is essential to verify the identification of all guests and monitor their beverage intake to prevent overserving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding service to all customers.
  • Embrace and embody the mission and brand principles of White Lodging.
  • Complete all assigned setup, side work, and closing tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant before, during, and after shifts, removing any litter.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness at the bar, performing daily cleaning and side work.
  • Ensure bar glassware is free from damage and stains.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including garnishes, ingredients, and preparation techniques, and be ready to address any guest inquiries.
  • Stay informed about daily specials and features offered by the restaurant.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the average check value.
  • Accurately take guest orders, confirming details before entering them into the system.
  • Verify food presentation before serving to ensure quality and temperature.
  • Check in with guests regarding their satisfaction with food quality shortly after serving.
  • Present checks accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all cash handling policies and complete end-of-shift paperwork as required.
  • Follow all company policies regarding work procedures and attendance.
  • Stay updated on hotel information and participate in pre-shift meetings.
  • Encourage teamwork and foster a friendly, safe work environment.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all uniform standards.
  • Be knowledgeable about all beverage offerings available to guests.
  • Engage in conversation with guests to build personal connections.
  • Ensure responsible beverage service to prevent overconsumption.
  • Assist with keg management, including heavy lifting when necessary.
