We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Intake Specialist/Client Coordinator to join our team at Green Meadows Home Health Care Inc. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing a seamless intake and client experience, and ensuring efficient communication between patients, healthcare providers, and the laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Greet and assist patients and clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Order Management: Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and test orders, and input them into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) accurately and efficiently.
- Result Reporting: Report test results to clients and healthcare providers via LIS or other designated channels.
- Intake Coordination: Coordinate the intake process for lab specimens, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Administrative Support: Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence from clients and healthcare providers, and maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within the LIS.
- Collaboration: Liaise between clients, lab technicians, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate testing, and handle appointment scheduling, billing queries, and general client coordination.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or lab sciences is a plus.
- Experience: Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proficient in using computer systems and office software, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
