Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide high-quality speech therapy services to patients in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide pediatric school-based services part-time throughout the school year.
Requirements:
  • Valid OR state SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification.
  • One year of experience with swallowing disorders or extensive dysphagia management experience within an internship/externship program.
  • Training and knowledge in prevention, screening, evaluation, and assessment, as well as planning, implementing, and monitoring intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer proficiency.
Education:
  • Graduate of a school of speech/language pathology (MS or MA).
