Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager/Estimator with a track record of successfully managing high-end residential projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent.
- Conduct constructibility reviews and collaborate with Estimators on various construction methods and logistics.
- Lead pre-construction meetings with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and maintained.
- Foster positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Delegate responsibilities to project team members and establish compliance procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among project participants.
- Adhere to company processes and leverage technology for project management.
- Prepare and manage Change Order Requests and Job Cost Budget Updates.
- Monitor construction progress and hold regular status meetings with subcontractors.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and address any quality issues promptly.
- Engage with architects and engineers regarding plan modifications and value engineering.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations based on project plans.
- Update policies and procedures related to the estimating department.
- Coordinate changes in plans and document adjustments.
- Develop and maintain estimating tools and software.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience in document control and scheduling tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and local market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Established relationships with clients and architects in the community.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
