About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Gray Architects & Engineers, LLC. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients, contractors, and reviewing agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Compile and analyze data to determine site feasibility and develop site improvement plans.
  • Prepare specifications, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development.
  • Inspect construction work in progress to ensure compliance with approved contract documents.
  • Review shop drawings and ensure NPDES requirements are satisfied.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of ten years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Proficient in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, and HEC-RAS.
  • Ability to manage projects through the permitting process.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
