Senior HCM Analyst, Workday Implementation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HCM Analyst, Workday to join our team at Insperity. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Workday product implementation and support activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with our internal project management team to perform assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Consult with clients to understand their current human capital management system configuration and needs.
  • Advise clients on the most appropriate implementation strategies and best practices.
  • Perform in-depth discovery sessions to document functional specifications for system setup requirements.
  • Complete advanced configuration, document, test, and validate software to maximize and streamline client human resources, payroll, compensation, time tracking, absence, talent, recruiting, learning, benefits, security, and reporting workflows and processes.
  • Provide client administrative-level user training as required on the Workday platform.
  • Facilitate scheduled client status update calls to identify client issues, potential escalations, and advise on best practice recommendations.
  • Maintain outstanding customer service standards to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Champion clients' needs for resolution on all open issues identified during data conversion and onboarding.
  • Develop relationships within the client organization to effectively integrate project deliverables and meet client business goals and metrics as defined in the project plans.
  • Stay current on new products, industry trends, and clients' training needs.
  • Manage training materials for clients.
  • Gather product/software feedback with solutions for improvement to product/leadership teams.
  • Serve as a mentor, monitor, and support HCM Analysts and act as a subject matter expert on software functionality, training design, best practices, as well as process and procedures.
  • Travel to designated client sites for training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or a related field or four years of related experience is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in systems integration or enterprise-class HRMS product implementation is required.
  • Certification in Workday is preferred.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret tax rules on the state, federal, and local level for software configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with high-touch, large, complex clients in a mid-market setting.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills to interface with peers, leadership, and customers.
  • Expert in conducting customer-facing meetings.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical and project information in a business context.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering quality, on-time business solutions to a diverse client base.
  • In-depth human resources and payroll knowledge within a business setting.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage complex tasks to completion with minimal direction.
  • Expert level of accounting fundamentals and payroll/human resources best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of tax setup and requirements at the Federal, State, and local level.
  • Subject matter expert in the areas of payroll and human resources reporting for application in a business setting.
  • Strong customer relations, time management, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth understanding of cross-departmental systems integration including time and attendance, and benefits.
