Success Academy is seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join their network of K-12 charter schools in New York City. As a teacher with Success Academy, you will be part of a team that is committed to providing high-quality education to students from diverse backgrounds.
Job Overview
As a teacher at Success Academy, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging lesson plans and deliver instruction to students. You will also be responsible for managing classroom behavior, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and utilize various instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, and provide timely feedback and support to help students improve.
- Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues, and collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
