Special Education Virtual Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Virtual Instructor to join our network. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized instruction, support, and resources to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with state standards and student learning needs.
- Deliver virtual instruction using various instructional strategies, technologies, and resources to engage students and promote active learning.
- Provide ongoing assessment of student progress, adjust instruction as needed, and communicate regularly with students, families, and other stakeholders about student performance and goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other members of the educational team to support the inclusion of students with special needs in the general education curriculum.
- Use data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress, identify areas for growth, and develop targeted interventions and supports to address student learning needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in special education, preferably in a virtual or online setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms, educational technology tools, and assistive technologies.
- Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $35/hour, based on national averages for virtual teaching positions in the United States. This compensation package offers a competitive rate for educators with specialized training and experience in special education.
