Technical Project Coordinator

Job Overview:
As a Technical Project Coordinator, you will assist project managers in scheduling project activities and monitoring timely completion of project activities. You will also prepare and manage configuration control documents in collaboration with Systems Engineers, ensuring all documents are clear and accurate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage configuration control documents in collaboration with Systems Engineers.
- Assist and support the Project Managers in their daily duties.
- Maintain documentation library and ensure timely revisions as needed.
- Work with the team to remove impediments.
- Draft Release guide documents for deployment of software into Production.
- Maintain project planning and tracking project in Jira.
- Assist Systems Engineers in planning and executing major deployment and maintenance projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field (computer science, engineering, etc.) or business degree with concentration or experience in technology.
- Associates Degree in relevant area with additional experience will be considered.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated organization and coordination skills to include tracking and managing routine and unplanned tasks.
- Demonstrated administrative skills and experience with business software including MS Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interpret technical information and translate to plain English.
- Basic, but solid understanding of computer and networking technologies.
- Experience with MS Project or experience with project support tools such as Jira and Confluence are desirable, not required.
- Ideal candidate would have experience with databases such as MS Access and/or SQL server and be able to write basic SQL queries.
