Job Description:

As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive optimal care and achieve their health goals.
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
