Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at UW Health's Eastpark Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and obtain vital signs
  • Document chief complaint, review/update medications and allergies
  • Assist with clinic procedures and treatments for patients
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education
Requirements
  • Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, Licensure as an LPN, Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program, Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee, Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated, or One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
  • Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.
  • CPR/BLS certification
