Role Purpose

Assist in overseeing custodial maintenance and cleaning operations. You will support the supervision of custodial staff in executing building cleaning tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead custodial teams across university facilities, ensuring tasks align with departmental objectives and quality standards.
  • Conduct general cleaning as per established schedules and respond to urgent requests.
  • Implement team cleaning protocols and ensure compliance.
  • Manage building security during and after cleaning operations, adhering to safety procedures.
  • Prepare venues for special events and provide on-site support.
  • Address cleaning needs following emergencies.
  • Assist in supervising special custodial projects and event preparations as required.
  • Participate in training sessions and maintain equipment inventory.
  • Drive to transport staff and equipment as necessary.
Qualifications

Required:

Minimum one year of experience in custodial services or related fields. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions is required.

Preferred:

Over two years of custodial experience, with some supervisory or training responsibilities. Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.

Driving Requirements

A valid driver's license is necessary for this position. Candidates must provide a current driving record.

Salary Range

$41,600

Working Conditions

Employees may be required to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to chemicals and physical demands such as lifting and climbing.
