We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Glenview, IL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student's specific needs and goals, ensuring a tailored approach to meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including both individual and group sessions, to enhance their communication skills and support their academic and social success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments, promoting a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals, and working closely with the IEP team to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology, ensuring you remain at the forefront of your field and can provide the highest level of care to our students.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
