Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector ensures all assigned inspections are properly completed and documented in compliance with established policies and procedures. This role is responsible for performing final inspections of products, ensuring conformity to work instructions and associated documents, and maintaining inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspections of products to ensure conformity to work instructions and associated documents.
  • Ensure all assigned inspections are properly completed in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inspection equipment, ensuring it is used within the calibration cycle and is in good working condition.
  • Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Prepare accepted products for use by appropriately labeling them to indicate status and printing unique device identification labels as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Quality Inspection role.
  • Proficient in all aspects of inspection, including using and maintaining all inspection equipment.
  • Experience with reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings required.
  • Expertise in the application and use of gauges and inspection equipment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Analytical, logical thought process, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the Quality team and other cross-functional teams as required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn various manufacturing software systems.
  • Experience with ISO9000 or AS9100 Quality Systems a plus.

Compensation

$18.50/hr to $24.50/hr. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
