Agricultural Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Agricultural Inspector to join our team at the Arkansas Government Job. As an Agricultural Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of agricultural products in the state.

• Conduct inspections of agricultural facilities, including farms, processing plants, and storage facilities, to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor and enforce regulations related to animal health, food safety, and environmental protection.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in agricultural practices.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve agricultural productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with farmers, processors, and other stakeholders to promote best practices and resolve issues.

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in agricultural inspection, animal health, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to agriculture and animal health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel to agricultural facilities throughout the state. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
