Job Title: District Sales Representative-Merchandiser

Spectrum Brands is seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Representative-Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our sales and merchandising team, you will be responsible for servicing our Home & Garden products at national big-box accounts, including The Home Depot and Lowe's home improvement centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by maintaining store presentation standards through resets, fixture installation, store sets, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, shelf maintenance, display maintenance, and POP installation.
  • Plan store visits for efficiency and effectiveness, executing planograms/maps first and identifying opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals.
  • Build relationships with store management, maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately, and maintain store shelves and inventory.
  • Assist retail consumers with the selection and purchase of Home and Garden products, conduct pricing surveys, and track orders to determine additional selling opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with performance expectations, company values, and policies, including safety, attendance, store presence, and travel.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or additional training beyond high school preferred.
  • One to two years of previous sales and/or retail experience; previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, manage time and competing priorities, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and sense of urgency to exceed customer expectations.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation daily.
  • PC skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
Work Environment:

This is a remote position working from your dedicated home office. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to climb ladders and frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
