Job Summary

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory levels, manage stockroom organization, and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
  • Develop and implement effective systems for kitchen efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position or equivalent culinary background.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain composure under pressure.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
