We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at StoryPoint. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Assess and assign work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This position requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
