Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead clinical practice and education on our unit, within our division, and across our health system. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for advancing nursing practice at the unit/system, local, state, and national levels, and will be instrumental in the application of the Professional Practice/Care Transformation Model across our health system.
Key Responsibilities- Lead implementation of the Care Transformation Model
- Lead programs and initiatives that are congruent with EHC and nursing's strategic plan
- Lead implementation of the principles of fair and just culture
- Collaborate with patients, family, and staff to consider cultural influences
- Coach staff and others using advanced communication skills
- Provide expert nursing consultation to nurses, physicians, patients, and families
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- Master's degree in nursing
- Meets GA Board of Nursing requirements for CNS
- Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration
