- Administering lubricants to engine components to avert premature wear and maintain peak performance.
- Greasing wheel bearings to mitigate excessive tire wear.
- Conducting engine cleanings to inhibit rust development.
- Replacing filters for cabin air, fuel, oil, and air as necessary.
- Executing tire rotations to promote uniform tire wear.
- Assessing tire pressure and inflating as required.
- Conducting thorough inspections of customer vehicles for oil leaks.
- Providing recommendations for further maintenance based on initial vehicle evaluations.
- Alerting the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance cannot be completed within the scheduled timeframe.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screening (THC not included).
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Capability to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and service specifications.
- Proficiency in using electronic diagnostic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ASE Certification or Technical Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a service department.
