Job Summary

Home of Hope is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to provide support to individuals with disabilities. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their maximum potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living skills, leisure activities, and personal hygiene.
  2. Train and guide individuals in achieving their goals, promoting independence and self-determination.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues, service providers, guardians, and families to ensure seamless support.
  4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Coordinate and provide instruction in vocational skills, promoting employability and community integration.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
  • No experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Valid OK driver's license, current automotive insurance, and dependable transportation.
  • Criminal Background free of encumbrances identified by the State of Oklahoma Health Department.
  • First Aid/CPR Training (Required).
  • Required pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable cause drug screens.
  • Willingness to work schedules based on individual client needs.
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and walk at an efficient rate of speed.
