Senior Health and Safety Officer

As a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) at TITAN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our personnel, clients, and subcontractors on various projects.
We offer a competitive salary of $1,923.08 per week, along with a range of benefits that include health plans, ancillary benefits, 401k plans, PTO, and annual educational training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of personnel and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and conduct safety orientations and meetings with personnel at the jobsite to ensure understanding of site-specific safety procedures.
- Investigate mishaps and incidents to identify root causes and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain up-to-date safety reference materials at the jobsite, including relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in pre-construction conferences, pre-work meetings, and three-phase inspection meetings to ensure compliance with project-specific safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce established safety policies, procedures, and protocols, including APP, AHAs, and EM 385-1-1.
- Verify that subcontractor personnel are compliant with safety requirements and take necessary action if non-compliance is identified.
- Remove personnel not wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) or who pose a safety risk.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EM 385-1-1 certification
Work Location:
Our team members have the opportunity to work on various projects across multiple locations. After completing a project, you may be reassigned to a new project based on business needs.
