SBM Management is seeking a proactive Construction Site Supervisor. The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing operations essential to fulfilling the contractual obligations of the organization. This includes comprehensive planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor interactions, client relations, and other high-level management duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and organizes work schedules to guarantee adequate service delivery.
  • Creates schedules for service personnel and assigns them to specific routes.
  • Evaluates and inspects the physical condition of the site to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and service standards.
  • Conducts audits and manages inventories, supplies, and equipment.
  • Researches and advocates for new and enhanced equipment and methodologies.
  • Reviews client service requests to determine the cause of issues and collaborates with management to address them.
  • Implements organizational policies and objectives.
  • Analyzes budget requests to identify potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Aids in marketing services to develop new markets, enhance market share, and secure a competitive edge in the industry.
  • Inspects the facility and assesses the utilization of space and resources.
  • Assists in the preparation of plans, budgets, and schedule modifications, including cost estimates and contracts.
  • Ensures that the site consistently meets budgetary goals.
  • Contributes to the development of long-term plans, conceptual designs, and capital expenditure requirements for program enhancements.
  • Coordinates program specifications, proposal requirements, and related documentation.
  • Gathers data for preparing financial estimates.
  • Monitors and reports on financial aspects of the business, including labor hours, overhead, supplies, expenses, billing, forecasting, and any changes in these areas.
  • Maintains a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Directs supervisory staff involved in supporting facility programs.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Maintains databases for contracts and contractor statuses.
  • Reviews all communications related to contractors and responds appropriately.
  • Establishes and sustains contact with contractors to facilitate a smooth contract process.
  • Conducts and participates in meetings to ensure effective communication with clients, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Assists with human resource-related concerns and issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in operations management
  • Extensive facilities management experience
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is advantageous
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Shift: Full Time
