Job Overview

We are seeking a Part-time Environmental Service Housekeeper to join our team in Scranton, PA. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment in healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim to maintain a high level of aesthetic appeal.
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Dust furniture and equipment to prevent the accumulation of dust and allergens.
  • Polish metalwork to maintain a high level of shine and cleanliness.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Transport small equipment or tools between departments to maintain efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
  • Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
  • Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
