  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurse assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Oversight and direction for the emergency department.
  • Accountability for nursing care within the department.
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and respect with all other healthcare team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in management and/or supervisory roles in the emergency department.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated creative skills, ideas to improve existing programs.
  • Ability to determine appropriate action in complex situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling work.
