Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Operator to join our team at Alkegen. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and controlling various process and auxiliary equipment related to the manufacturing of ceramic fiber and its products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain process equipment to meet daily key performance indicators (KPIs) for Safety, Quality, and Production Rate.
  • Follow written work instructions and perform tasks for chemical solution batching, adjustments during processing, and transferring batches between various process tanks.
  • Complete record sheets during process chemical batching and monitor equipment for minor repairs as required.
  • Perform quality checks per QA work instruction and conduct material handling tasks, including finished goods packaging, shipping/receiving, raw material storage, and maintaining orderly racking of materials.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment, process, and quality issues to support maintenance and engineering staff in resolving issues.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High school Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn and access information through computer databases.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
