Job Summary

As a Software Development Specialist at M.C. Dean, Inc., you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions using state-of-the-art technologies and tools. You will work closely with our development team to design and develop advanced applications that solve real-life problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of OOP and Design Patterns, substantial software architecture and design development experience, and the ability to work with a broad range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the agile development cycle and collaborate with customers, product owners, and other developers to understand the problem domain and its requirements.
Design and develop advanced applications using state-of-the-art technologies and tools.
Maintain the highest standards of quality and contribute to our organization's culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
Work with a broad range of technologies, including C#, Microsoft .NET framework, WPF, WCF, REACT, and related ecosystem components.
Develop mobile applications, including those based on cross-platform solutions/frameworks.
Design and implement REST API and service-oriented architectures.
Work in an agile software development environment and lead development teams.
Proficiency with application lifecycle management tools, e.g., Azure DevOps and/or similar.
Proficiency with source code configuration management/version control using AzureDevOPs or similar systems.
Experience in developing and using test automation is desired.
Background in engineering is a plus.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive software development experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related discipline or 3 to 5 years of experience with a Master of Science degree in a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strong command of OOP and Design Patterns.
Substantial software architecture and design development experience.
Proven ability to work with a broad range of technologies.
Data structures and advanced algorithms.
Secure coding practices.
Experience with relational databases (MSSQL).
Experience working in an agile software development environment and leading development teams.
Proficiency with application lifecycle management tools, e.g., Azure DevOps and/or similar.
Proficiency with source code configuration management/version control using AzureDevOPs or similar systems.
Experience in developing and using test automation is desired.
Background in engineering is a plus.
