Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telehealth Technician to join our team. As a Telehealth Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our Veterans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a welcoming and confidential environment for our Veterans
  • Support patient care delivery via telehealth onsite
  • Assist remote providers in exams using peripheral instruments
  • Learn to use telehealth equipment and complete studies such as tele-dermatology and teleretinal exams
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in patient's electronic medical record
  • Complete all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit
  • Obtain medical histories from patients and verify patient information
  • Assist on-site providers during examinations and ancillary testing
  • Schedule clinic appointments and patient check-in and/or out of the clinic
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Active NCCA accredited certification for Medical Assistants
  • Current and active state Nursing License for LPN interests
  • Graduate of an accredited certificate program
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including the MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrate high-quality customer service
  • Two years of continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externship
  • One year of continuous experience drawing blood proficiently
  • Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
