We are seeking a highly skilled Property Tax Consultant to join our team at Merit Advisors, LLC. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert services to our clients through accurate data analysis throughout the property tax cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the collection, preparation, review, and processing of client data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide high-quality service to clients through timely filing of renditions, notices, appeals, and bills.
- Communicate with taxing jurisdictions and build relationships with assessors to drive down taxable value.
- Determine taxability and identify issues through critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, Engineering, or Quantitative field.
- One to three years of experience in a consulting firm, preferably with a Big Four background.
- Track record of performance, achievement, and leadership.
- Strong Excel skills and commercial aptitude.
