NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing metal components using heavy machinery and welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Read and understand blueprints to plan and execute fabrication projects.
- Material Sourcing: Source materials and supplies needed for projects.
- Measurement and Cutting: Measure and cut materials to specifications using manual and mechanical techniques.
- Welding: Weld materials using various techniques, including TIG, MIG, ARC, and oxy-fuel welding.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets specifications and tolerances.
Requirements:
- Education and Certifications: Welding certificate or experience from a technical school preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Ability to pass weld test, knowledge of various welding techniques, documentation skills, basic safety, equipment maintenance, lifting, analyzing information, dependability, and independence.
