Security Guardian Manager

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is currently seeking a skilled Security Guardian Manager to join our team. This is a vital role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
The Security Guardian Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, its staff, and clients. This includes enforcing rules, monitoring security cameras, and conducting regular checks of the building and premises.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enforce rules and regulations of the Harbor Light Center to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct regular checks of the building and premises to detect potential security threats.
- Monitor security cameras to ensure that all areas are being monitored effectively.
- Conduct emergency evacuations and ensure that all clients and staff are safely accounted for.
- Secure the building and ensure that all doors are locked to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct internal and external rounds throughout the building and premises to ensure that all areas are secure.
- Perform searches of dorm rooms and other spaces to detect contraband or other prohibited items.
- Conduct Breathalyzers tests on all clients entering the South Entrance and urine drug screens as needed.
- Search clients' belongings upon entry and exit from the facility.
- Escorting clients to the welcome center where they are searched and change into scrubs.
- Direct and document bed checks to verify client census on a nightly basis.
- Confiscate, dispose of, and document all contraband found on clients or in the building.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership to support the safe and secure operation of the Harbor Light Center.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. You will also need to have a clean background check and be able to pass a Safe From Harm training course. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
Working Conditions:
This role will require you to work in a typical office environment with some weekend and evening shifts. You will also need to be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
