Cybersecurity Threat Countermeasures Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Countermeasures Specialist to join Eateam. This is a full-time position with a competitive estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

This role will be responsible for monitoring information systems to protect assets and systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

• Monitor security and confidentiality conditions, reporting to supervisors as necessary.
• Interface with customers to understand security needs, implementing procedures accordingly.
• Prepare for security audits, remediating findings in a timely manner.
• Develop information security policies and standards that align with industry best practices.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for implementing security policies.
• Recommend security safeguards for new and legacy systems.
• Ensure secure use of information security management software.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure security policies are being followed.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Thorough knowledge of information security management tools and policies.
• Familiarity with vulnerabilities scanning tools and vulnerabilities remediation.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in information security or technology and a security certification (e.g. CISSP). Network Admin experience is preferred.
