NESCO Inc. is in search of a Maintenance Supervisor with extensive expertise in PLC Programming and Troubleshooting for a well-established manufacturing facility.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 annually plus bonuses (overtime is infrequent)
Work Schedule: 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hands-on management of the installation, preventive maintenance, and enhancement of plant machinery
  • Ensure the fulfillment of special projects assigned by the maintenance manager
  • Supervise maintenance personnel as direct reports, fostering development through problem-solving and adherence to The EPIQ Way
  • Maintain and enhance the preventive maintenance program
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute maintenance tasks
  • Identify issues, replace or repair components, conduct tests, and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain organized and clean workspaces
  • Provide support to plant technical staff during their absences
  • Exhibit leadership skills and build consensus among team members at all levels. Capable of covering for the maintenance manager
  • Research, design, and implement innovative technologies to enhance equipment performance and quality for customers
  • Support plant and maintenance operations as needed around the clock
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Proficient PLC Programming and Troubleshooting skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a Just In Time (JIT) manufacturing environment
  • PLC Testing is mandatory as part of the interview process
  • Maintenance Assessment is required during the interview process
  • Flexibility is a must
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary business information
