What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of residents through proper medication management. Under supervision, you will administer prescribed medications to residents and perform other nursing assistant responsibilities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents, recording clinical measurements, and assisting in examinations and treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Recording and documenting medication administration and resident responses
  • Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions or side effects
  • Collaborating with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication management
  • Assisting with other resident care tasks as needed, following protocols and procedures
