Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage staffing schedules to guarantee adequate coverage across all shifts.
  • Work with department heads to assess staffing requirements and address vacancies promptly.
  • Implement cost-effective staffing strategies to minimize overtime.
  • Ensure timely filling of open positions to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee time-off requests and promote consistent attendance among staff.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law postings within the facility.
  • Generate and maintain staffing reports to comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Facilitate new hire training and support the orientation process for incoming employees.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and track necessary certifications.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job advertisements, resume evaluations, interviews, and hiring processes.
  • Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and credential assessments.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires receive comprehensive orientation and training.
  • Keep precise and updated employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.
  • Monitor new hire compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Encourage employee engagement and retention through recognition initiatives and team-building activities.

  • Experience in staffing roles, particularly within healthcare or skilled nursing environments.
