At CHRISTUS Health, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain physical or mental functioning and adjust to their handicaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in a variety of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy; Bachelor's degree required.
  • Knowledgeable of the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics and the Guide to Occupational Therapy Practice.
  • New graduates accepted; Current license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners.
