Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and run die cutting machines according to production schedules, including pre-make ready and tooling.
  • Understand and interpret bindery and die cutting specifications, job tickets, and work orders.
  • Ensure quality requirements are met by understanding customer specifications and using proofs to check cutting attributes.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with constant visual effort and physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and pulling.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of die cutting and bindery operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a die cutter operator with a good record of accuracy and quality production.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions.
