The Banquet Server is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests at all banquet functions. As a Banquet Server, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest interaction is warm, friendly, and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and serve food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Prepare and maintain the banquet storeroom, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Clean up banquet space after functions, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stored and re-stocked properly.
  • Prepare rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and various meal functions.
  • Follow all money handling procedures when serving guests.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and long hours sometimes required.
