ProMach is a leading manufacturer of packaging equipment, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, programming, simulating, and testing automation and controls systems for our Weiler Labeling Systems brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop programs for our labeling systems and other equipment as required
  • Create documentation to support assembly, testing, and debugging of equipment on the production floor and for future servicing
  • Collaborate with other engineers, sales staff, and customers to understand project requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software components for projects

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work on complex projects and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Experience with high-speed automation machinery and B&R Automation Studio
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
