We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to serve as the Chief of Pediatric Urology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead the growth of academic and scholarly activities in pediatric urology, inspiring innovation and high-quality clinical service. They will have experience working in a complex academic environment and be an outstanding specialist and respected academic leader in pediatric urology with a record of accomplishment.
About the DepartmentThe Department of Urology at the University of Rochester is a dynamic and growing department with 30 clinical and research faculty members. The Division of Pediatric Urology practices principally out of the state-of-the-art Golisano Children's Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital.
Responsibilities- Lead the growth of academic and scholarly activities in pediatric urology
- Inspire innovation and high-quality clinical service
- Work in a complex academic environment
- Be an outstanding specialist and respected academic leader in pediatric urology
MD, MD/PhD or DO from an accredited institution with board certification in Urology and Pediatric Urology. Eligible for licensure in New York. Candidates must possess qualifications for appointment as Associate Professor in the URSMD.
